Golly Gee: Good For You Dr. Lennard

So Earl the Pearl was appointed Supervisor of Elections. Now that’s a surprise.

Not that he’ll do a bad job. Not that he doesn’t have the IQ, education, energy, or management experience. It is just that…well….I just didn’t think he was on Governor Crist’s radar screen.

Too-Tan surprised us again. I guess old Doc Lennard was politically neutral enough to not offend Charlie’s Republican support, and at the same time, appeased the potential howl from Democrats. After all, Phyllis was an elected Demo.

At least he didn’t appoint media hack Rosemary Goudreau, who would have turned that office into Nancy Pelosi/Barney Frank Neverland. OOOOPS, I guess my Repub is showing.

I would also guess the local media in general is disappointed. No great stories to sell papers or TV time. With the feeding frenzy over Buddy Johnson about dead right now, this is getting to be a slow summer. Our local “journalists” can always keep the Michael Jackson story going. That’ll keep our attention.

In a few private conversations with a few current school board members tonight.......they are quite proud of Dr. Lennard's appointment.

Sooo, soo glad Griffin and Valdes are devastated.
